The Garden City Rotary Club and Foundation seek to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise, and to participate in and support service projects benefiting the Garden City community, as well as our regional and international community.
Our club is very active in the Garden City community.
Every year we provide many scholarships to students of Garden City High School and Cambridge Alternative High School.
We participate in Wayne County's "Adopt a Road" program with an annual clean up of Merriman Road from Ford to Warren.
We provide winter coats to students in need.
We hold an annual school supplies drive to benefit Garden City Public Schools students.
We sponsor the Garden City Public Library's Summer Reading Program.
We contribute to Rotary International's fight to end polio.
We have erected four Little Free Libraries throughout Garden City.
We assist in the maintenance of Rotary Park.
We participate in many community events.
